Program Overview

Ashtanga Intensive

A 10-day, 75-hour Ashtanga Intensive for committed practitioners — combining Mysore-style practice, Led classes, and a detailed breakdown of the Primary Series (Yoga Chikitsa), with a progressive introduction to Second Series based on individual readiness.

The program includes:

  • · 8 Mysore-style classes
  • · 2 Led Ashtanga classes
  • · Daily Shatkriya and Pranayama
  • · Yoga Sutra study and chanting

Open to all levels, the intensive supports both new and experienced practitioners in developing a sustainable self-practice through traditional teaching, hands-on adjustments, and supportive guidance.

Students will also explore Jala Neti, Sutra Neti, Kapalabhati, Trataka, progressive Pranayama, and Yoga philosophy for deeper awareness and inner growth.

Mysore Program Development

Learn to build your own Mysore room

Mysore style is the traditional way of practicing Ashtanga, where each student moves through the sequence at their own pace within the shared energy of the room.

This training helps students learn how to create and lead a Mysore program — introducing beginners, guiding mixed-level rooms, and supporting students toward independent practice.

A key part of the training is learning how to structure and teach progressive 60, 75, and 90-minute Led class sequences, helping teachers adapt the practice to different class formats and student levels.

Focus Areas

  • Guiding mixed-level practitioners within one Mysore room
  • Extensive hands-on adjustments training and assisting techniques
  • Building progressive 60 / 75 / 90 minute Led classes
  • Maintaining rhythm, concentration, and discipline within the practice space
